Organisations that have signed up to Torfaen’s Anti-Bullying Strategy
2008/2010 have said they will work towards the following as a minimum:

Have an effective anti-bullying policy that everyone knows about

Have several prevention and intervention activities throughout the year and during Anti-Bullying Week (usually end of November)

Use the Torfaen definition of bullying and recording forms

Share bullying incident information with the Community Safety Partnership when appropriate

Nominate an anti-bullying lead to drive this work forward and, if possible, act as a first point of contact for children, young people, families and professionals

Make use of training provided

Survey the views children, young people, parents, carers and staff have on bullying
